The Gift Unwrapped

You have been given a gift wrapped up with golden paper, and on top sits a sparkling white ribbon.. You only see the outside and fear keeps you from learning the treasure that hides inside.

Years pass, and the gift remain unwrapped on the table, then one day, you make an effort to approach the box, and as you hold it, you experience a feeling of love.

You begin to question: “What could be inside?” “Should you open it, or, leave it unopened? What would you find if you unwrapped it? You begin to wonder who placed such a gift on your table?

It took years before I dared to explore my gift of beauty and power that was buried within. The emotional blocks preventing this were:

  • Doubts about my self-worth
  • Fearing of lost
  • Believing I’m not smart
  • Insecurity about my abilities
  • Lack of encouragement

These feelings were the roadblocks preventing me from honoring my sacredness and sharing my gift. Have you found emotional blocks preventing you from discovering your treasure within? Would you like to discover the root cause of them?\

I have been on a spiritual journey in search of purpose and meaning. for many years. My work is healing with words to awaken the Divine Spirit within. I listen with the heart to understand the deeper meaning of the words that are spoken. With compassion and acceptance I guide others towards understanding what might be preventing them from experiencing their true-self.

Let us travel together to uncover that which prevents you from honoring your worth. Contact me at: patricia@reinventinghealthpublishing.com

Stop Listening To Your Inner Ctitic

Stop Listening To Your Inner Critic

You know that little voice in your head that keeps saying:

  • You are bad
  • You can’t do it
  • It’s too hard
  • Not capable
  • Not worthy

I know how hard it was for me to become aware and stop the chatter and change the mind-set towards a healthy outcome. I began by paying attention whenever these negative thought forms would come up. They were tricky and would sneak in when I less expected them.

I began to wonder whether, I was enhancing them by agreeing to their presence and not being aware of the harm they were creating in my life preventing me from making better decisions for leading a life worthwhile?

Slowly as I listened, I would hear my inner critic saying words of lack and inability. I began to realize that these words were learned and that I could replace them with positive words. This required much attention and listening to displace their harmful affects.

At first I would hear their indictments and believe they were my truth. I realized that these words of my inner critic were learned and that I needed to find a way to replace these learned beliefs, which these words generated. If I continued to ignore them and refuse not to examine their reason for being I would remain their prisoner.

With this awareness, I began to listen more closely and I asked myself, where did these words come from? Understand that the words that run around in your head are the cause of your inner critic controlling your life and choices. Discover what it is that prevents you from a more meaningful life.

It was hard work to become aware of the inner voice and to stop believing its negative words and find a way to learn the how-to for changing the belief system. If I wanted freedom from this brainwashing I knew that awareness of my inner critic was the first step in changing my choices.

The inner critic was like the wind, and it would come and go unnoticed. It dominated my choices for expressing my true self. Slowly, I begin to see the connection between: my inner critic and my feelings and beliefs of not being worthy and my doubts of my abilities. With this connection I found freedom.

Understanding that words were just energy and I could change their vibrations into positive thoughts by replacing the inner critic with the inner divine self, that holds the truth of my being.

Understand that the words that run around in your head are the cause of your inner critic controlling your life and choices. Discover who it is that prevents you from a more meaningful life.

Are you aware of your inner critic? What tool do you use to change the negative thinking to which you are prone to a more positive outcome? I would love to hear about your inner critic and how you found a way to stop listening to its lies.

For me, the inner critic for years held me in its prison, until I found a way to confront its lies, and became aware of it presence. Poetry became the tool to touch the feelings of lack and believe that I am a powerful, loving and caring person, who is capable. The words set me free. Here is my poem of the inner critic:

                                    The Inner Critic

The fault-finding judge
Visited today
Hung around for days
Refusing to leave
Verbalizing endless accusations
You are bad
Unworthy
Useless
Ugly
What good can come from you?
Around and around
This senseless mindless babble
Defines the who I am
Negative neurological imprinting
Demanding attention
This learned social neurological
Cultivation of word consciousness
Becomes a nagging problem
Caught in a web of endless words.
Displacing the inner critic
Telling it to get lost
Sets in motion positive change

New Beginnings

I am back again after spending a few years researching and writing a new book. My first book, Winters Mystery- Time To Go Within:Spiritual Journeying, this book offers comfort and healing  trauma, with psychological and spiritual poetry. It takes you on a journey to discover your wonder through the darkness, towards confronting the root cause that leads to freedom. wintersmystery.com

My new book is about simple practical solutions for your safety and those you hold dear. It address protection and prevention from, GMO, radiation, and other toxins causing diseases, and the how-to for removing them from the body.

There is no way to escape these poisons. They are in the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breath, and in all living things and, yes, the animals we love. Hope is on the way.

What Is Compassion?

The Macmillan Dictionary defines compassion as: sympathy for another’s suffering or misfortune combined with a desire to help.

I like to define compassion as:

“Recognizing that the other person is me”

I feel it is these learned beliefs and expectation, along with the fear of rejection that we find it difficult to share feelings of sympathy to lend a helping hand and accept others where they are.

I have found instead of sympathy and tenderness, there is non-acceptance and cruel behavior that births feelings of fear, separation and rejection.

Changing the fear and non-acceptance into compassion must begin with me. Restoring the true self begins with inner acceptance and forgiveness of others and myself.  Finding new ways to reach out in love and non-judgement, putting myself in their place and feeling what it is like to be in their shoes.

The journey to define compassion begins with me. It is vital to become aware of the root cause of why I react instead of interact. This self-examination is necessary to transform the feelings of sympathy to the heart for another. Paying attention that the other person is a reflection of you. Next, consider the why or what you are feeling towards that person. Then, ask yourself, if these feelings are rooted in rejections or fear of not being accepted?

You decide!

“TO THY OWN SELF BE TRUE”

Examining those hidden feelings brings forth freedom and compassion for oneself and others.

Some things to consider for defining compassion:

  • What does compassion mean to you?
  • Do you find compassion a difficult experience to understand.
  • Have you considered that we are all part of each other?
  • Do you put yourself in another person’s place and feel what it is like to walk in their shoes?
  • Do you judge others by your learned beliefs and expectations of what they should be or do?
